I have just returned from 4 nights here with my husband. A modern spotless set of rooms overlooking amazing views. We stayed in room 1, which was an extremely large suite. The large bed was very comfortable and it was so quiet at night. I particularly liked the enormous bathroom with dual sinks and walk in shower plus a separate bath! Lovely large bath towels also. There is a comfy seating area also dining table and chairs, plenty of storage and wardrobe space. With a private balcony and an uninterrupted view of the countryside it really was a relaxing break. Breakfast and dinner is served in the pub, both meals delicious. The menu isn’t huge which isn’t a negative I believe that this means the food on offer is of a better quality. There is however, plenty to satisfy all tastes. The hotel was quiet while we stayed, and the service we experienced was excellent, although I’m sure this would be the same if full. A car would be required to get around as there isn’t anything in walking distance but this adds to the peaceful experience. To the team at The View thank you so much for a wonderful break

We really enjoyed our three nights in room 5, which is a superior suite, chosen because it has a separate shower. The bathroom is huge, and the shower has an excellent non-slip floor, though be careful if the floor tiles get wet. The room was spacious with plenty of storage space and fresh milk each day for your drink. It was lovely to have a totally private terrace with beautiful country views and absolute peace, except for the sheep. No aircon, but a large fan is provided. The decoration is tasteful and well maintained. Breakfast and dinner were of a high standard with plenty of choice, and the service is friendly and efficient. We would not hesitate to come back if we visit the area again.

Lovely spacious rooms. With nice views. Excellent food in the pub Amazing breakfast Could do with a mat in the shower which is over the bath Also black out curtains would be good, as a lot of light came through the curtains
