COPTHORNE

Stayed here for one night during Plymouth Firework Festival. Family room on 2nd floor - clean and well equipped. We found 3 fans running in our room on arrival - it was in the middle of an extended heatwave so this was much appreciated. Pre-booked car parking on site was an essential. Breakfast was available but we opted to eat locally - plenty of choice in the vicinity. Despite being close to a busy road the room was relatively quiet. Have booked again for next year!

Reception staff were pleasant enough, but quite direct. Beds comfy enough. Bathrooms showing their sign of age. Good room cleanliness. Breakfast okay, but not the standard I would’ve expected. Cleaners continually walking through the saying areas with laundry trollies and insufficienct waiting staff. Overall, good location. 15 minute walk to the Barbican.
