The Smithaleigh Hotel

This place has declined very much over the last couple of years. Rooms are dated and very cold as the owner does not put heating on sufficiently. The premises is advertised as free on site parking however the owner will try to charge you for parking any additional cars. If you book and using any form of van, they charge you £10.00 per evening extra.

We rented a 2 bedroom apartment for a week and it was a clean and tidy accommodation with everything we needed. An ideal location that offered an easy drive to Dartmoor Zoo and Plymouth Very good value for money and around 10% cheaper than anywhere else at that time of year Highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future! This is our 3rd stay here and we are very pleased with the accommodation and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We have found it to be quite here and good location to get to places.
