Arundell Arms Hotel

We had our wedding reception at the Aurduel and stayed for two nights, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay and wedding celebrations so special. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the food was delicious, and the whole team worked incredibly hard to accommodate us and ensure everything went smoothly. Their kindness, professionalism and attention to detail really made a difference. We’re so grateful to everyone at the Aurduel for helping make our wedding celebrations so memorable. We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming and attentive place to stay.

Poorly cooked food, both dishes under seasoned , Limited menu and such a disappointing experience from our previous visits. We did mention it to the manager but didn’t get a response!! The hotel used to be a go to for good food but it isn’t anymore.

I was recently part of a wedding at the Arundel Arms in Lifton as a bridesmaid, and after spending a lot of time there, I can honestly say the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our first visit was for afternoon tea, which was beautifully presented, delicious and served with real care. Every member of staff was smart, professional, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. In the lead-up, we asked if we could see the reception layout in advance, and the team went above and beyond to set the room up just so we could plan for guests with mobility needs. It made such a difference. The night before the wedding, we decorated the room and the staff were on hand to help, finishing everything off with the table settings and glassware. It looked beautiful. We also ate in the restaurant that evening. The food was excellent. I had the fillet steak, cooked perfectly, while others loved their meals too. The chef even took time to talk through menu options and was genuinely enthusiastic about making the day special. We stayed for two nights, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable and quiet, with lovely big windows and thoughtful decor. The wedding itself was everything we hoped for, and the Arundel Arms played a huge part in making it feel seamless and personal. Every member of the team was warm, professional and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for a wedding or any special occasion. Thank you to the whole team
