Bassets B&B

We stayed here for 2 nights, on arrival had a very pleasant welcome from our host, the room was clean, comfortable and with Tea & Coffee making facilities, we had a shared bathroom, but this was not a problem, as we had no one to share it with, other rooms have private bathrooms. The house was large, and the grounds nicely kept, and situated in a very pretty hamlet Breakfast was very good, and nothing too much trouble, would stay again if the need arises. The only fault was the TV, that didn't work on some channels, but not an issue for us.

We stayed three nights in this quiet B&B. We were two teenage boys and one adult. The rooms were spacious, clean, fresh with tea making facilities and en-suite bathroom/ adjacent bathroom. Breakfast was a real treat and the offering very flexible. We had two strict diet needs which the owner obliged to the full. The location was perfect for our needs. The owner was most welcoming and a font of local knowledge. It is a little gem tucked away.

This is, without doubt, the best b&b I've ever stayed at! Calia was very welcoming and went out of her way to provide allergy free bedding and dairy free food for me. We even had dairy free cakes in our room upon arrival! We had the best night's sleep outside of our own beds ever. So peaceful and quiet. The bed was really comfortable, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We could not find one thing to be at fault. Toiletries were provided, as well as teas and coffees in the room. Bonus points for keeping the window open for us on this warm spring day! Breakfast was really lovely. We had a freshly cut and prepared fruit, a choice of cereals, yoghurt, toast and cooked meal. Although what I wanted wasn't on the menu, it was no problem for Celia. I even had a dairy free crumpet! It seemed like nothing was too much trouble for Celia and have no problem in highly recommending this b&b to anyone looking to sleep near to Poole or in a quiet, peaceful, very scenic village.
