The Oratory B&B & The Beeches Self-Catering - B&B

What an absolute gem for a getaway. To be honest we ended up here by accident after I recieved a gift voucher for an experience that I couldn't use. That caused a load of hassle, and initially this was a bit of a second choice. However that changed the moment we stepped through the front door. This is a lovely cosy space, without feeling claustraphobic. The host was very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast goodies and fruit left were to a good standard. For us the location was ideal been a short walk from two good places to eat. One oop these is a pub where we were also made to feel welcome..both were reccommended by the host. It was lovely and peaceful, clean and somewhere I would definately return, but would look at staying longer as on this occasion we only booked two nights. Thank you

The couple that run this place were very helpful and welcoming. I can't praise them enough with what they offered for our stay. The location was easy to find and the room itself was amazing. Very spacious and comfy with lots of nice touches to make the stay more enjoyable, like books, games and an information pack sent before arriving of places to eat out and additional services if required. The room was clean and tidy. It had so much more character than the generic chain run motel/hotels. We would definitely be recommending this place to anyone looking for an amazing, quality, professionally run, yet welcoming place to stop over to anyone and everyone.

The Oratory provided us with a great base for our recent holiday in Devon. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped with very comfortable beds, and the hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The ‘rain’ shower and roll-top bath added an extra bit of luxury. We will definitely return!
