Super helpful and friendly staff. Lovely new bar and restaurant area. Nice area to hang out.

Great welcome. Great staff. Very good value for the stay. Had a slight problem with one of our meals, which was addressed really professionally. A meal was served missing a key ingredient, but we were not told before ordering. We were offered a voucher for a free drink. There was a really strong off-putting "smell" in the foyer. We asked and apparently the "smell" is for the hotel brand. Needs heavily toning down. Other than that, our stay was fantastic.

Fantastic staff ,we were upgraded to room 22, overlooking the stream and park.lovely large room,big TV, a fan in the room which was a god send tea and coffee, large bathroom. We were also given a treat of snacks and bottled water. The restaurant wad nice, reasonably priced. The breakfast was self service, with costa like coffee, a great choice of full English, cereals pasties and fresh fruit juice.i would definitely stay here again.walking distance to the canal, Castle and town. Free car park
