Best Western Tiverton Hotel

The hotel was clean and the staff freindly and helpful, the room was clean and well equipped, it was also serviced every day. I would class this hotel as similar to a travel lodge with it's own bar and restaurant.

A great value refurbed hotel to a high standard. Friendly and professional check in. Room was really nice with plenty of room and comfy bed. Although I didn't eat in the restaurant, it looked nice with a nice looking bar. I will be back.

We arrived on the hotest day of the year and were given the key to a room like a furnace. The curtains on the large south facing windows had been open all day heating the room to a staggering temperature. We should've refused it, but were too tired to take on the not very responsive staff. There wasn't even a fan, we were told any available had gone to rooms "that needed them" that morning. Staying for two nights, we finally obtained a fan the next day. A number of staff said they'd suggested to management that more fans were needed, but nothing had happened. Dinner and breakfast were ok. Breakfast is buffet style, and there's a good selection. The staff work very hard to keep the food well-stocked. Our room appeared to be in part of the hotel very much in need of renovation, the bathroom was very dated, and the dribbling shower was over a bath. The water was lovely and hot. It was all very clean but the double beds mattress was old and lumpy.
