Had many very happy memories of staying at the Quayside hotel. We introduced a number of our friends to the hotel and they all talk fondly of their stays at Quayside. Sadly the hotel has been a building site for sometime so I am really surprised that Quayside is still advertised on Trip Advisor. Surely the hotel should be removed until the work is completed and currently this seems a very long way off.

The location of thos Hotel is perfect,in easy walking distance of the town. The food is excellent. Great hotel bar. The only negative was the stairs to the bedrooms. It is very difficult when carrying suitcases. Hopefully, that will be improved during the renovation as we will be back.

My partner and I had a lovely stay. We booked a room with an estuary view, but we would have preferred being on the 1st floor to get an even better view. We both felt the food was amazing and it is purely the reason why I have given a 5 star. Both the evening meal and breakfast were delicious and I would recommend you visit due to this. The spa isn’t anything to write home about but it was sufficient for our stay.
