We had a lovely roast, staff were great and it was good value for money. The picture of of the sharing roast for two people

Not bad overall. Plenty of parking and a short walk to town. Room was basic, mattress well beyond its best!! Had to take toilet lid off to flush it!! The real disappointment was the food!! It’s says “ hot food “, it’s not even warm!! 2 mornings off cold stodge!! What’s the point of having a hot plate, when it clearly doesn’t keep the food at least warm??? I did mention this to a member of the breakfast team. Hopefully somebody will benefit from this. Never again for me.

The staff was nice and helpful but stretched at dinnertime. The hotel is VERY dated. Very few walk in showers for those wanting/requiring it. There were stains on the rug in my room, the windows looked like they'd been through the war, no electrical outlets near the bed, no safe in the rooms. And no lifts/elevators in the hotel. Very tired. Dinner was ok although a lot of food was left not eaten one evening. Hake and salmon seem to be the only seafood served at many hotels now unless you order off the menu. Breakfast was ok. The doors in the hallways require a very good cleaning and the dead flies on the stairs remained throughout my stay. I would not recommend.
