Ferndale - Lodge

We had a lovely weekend in this lodge in Torquay. We were welcomed by Andrew, the owner, and we stayed in the superior king room, (room number 6). The room had every comfort and was really nice. The decor and furniture was pleasant and it was very well kept & clean. In the lodge, there’s a communal room with tables and sofas available to rest, play board games and there is also a little kitchen available for all guests with a communal fridge, iron board and so on. There’s an outdoor patio surrounded by lovely plants available for all just outside the main entrance. Included was breakfast, with a good choice of food, like salmon and avocado, english breakfast and so on. There were also a variety of cereals, fresh fruit, tea & coffee, yogurt and freshly made orange juice. We would defiantly recommend Ferndale Lodge for a weekend away from home. Spent 3 nights at this lovely spot. The place looks exactly like the pictures! Total bonus having a self-catering area with a fridge, microwave, iron, and free tea and coffee. Breakfast was delicious, and a huge thank you for handling my gluten-free diet so well. My absolute favourite part was the outdoor seating area- perfect for chilling out all day long. Thank you 🤩

Excellent location close to the town centre yet away from any noise. A comfy warm room and a good bed. Excellent accommodating host and a superb breakfast using only top quality ingredients. A delight to stay here and we can highly recommend it.
