Yet again (our 5th visit) the Baytree was was well worth the long journey from Yorkshire. Chris & Karen were very welcoming and their knowledge of the local area is superb. Quietly situated off the main road. Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. White fluffy towels a winner! Tea and coffee making facilities. Good value for money. Hope to return

We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely hotel in Torquay. The place is spotless clean, Chris & Karen are brilliant hosts & nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely with a big choice for everyone. Not too far to walk to town. Would stay again no problem

What a fantastic place, Torquay is within walking distance to many beautiful places frequent buses every 10 mins in both directions up and the coast line, we never used our car for the full week, saving on fuel and carpark fees, we had the ground floor room with easy access from the car to unload our bags as my husband has recently had surgery so not allowed to lift anything heavy. Our room and bathroom where lovely and clean, well fitted with a wardrobe, with space on top to store your suitcases out of the way, a dressing table, with 4 small drawers, a small Fridge, comfortable double bed, with bedside cabinets each side with 3 drawers and a comfortable chair in the corner of the room. All that befor we even get onto the delicious full English breakfast cooked by our lovely hosts Chris and Karen in the lovely dinning room plus many other things on the breakfast menu to choose from. Chris and Karen made us feel so welcome and always ready to give us recommendations and directions to different places. We had a fantastic week and would highly recommend staying at The Baytree if you visit Torquay 😀
