Uplands

The apartments are up St John's Road, a couple of km from the centre of St Helier in a peaceful area with a well-stocked Morrison's Daily 5 min walk away. The facilities and comfortable and clean; the housekeeping staff were very pleasant and attentive, offering fresh towels/linen changes. The only suboptimal aspect of the apartment was the size of the kitchenette. There was a modern hob/oven/microwave, but no room to move. There was insufficient space on the work surfaces for use of the kettle and toaster at the same time.

These apartments are great, near all main amenities and really nice to stay in. Was quiet when you need it, came with everything you need and staff quick to respond if needed. Good value for money and comes recommended from me.

Spotlessly clean apartment. We opted for the 5 bed duplex and found it to be spacious and well appointed. Staff very helpful with regards a cot for our little one and an added touch of a little teddy bear in their cot was lovely. Also a high chair was left for us. Good hospitality tray to get you started (milk, cornflakes, tea & coffee) especially as we arrived late. Good, concise instructions for arrival. Cleaning staff couldn’t be more obliging when I asked for extra towels and bin bags on our 3rd day. The cleaner was very helpful, polite & mannerly. We stayed for 7 days and the apartment was serviced once in that time. The only suggestion I would make would be for a little vacuum cleaner but maybe that’s because we have a messy toddler! A coffee machine/cafetière would’ve been a lovely bonus but with a wealth of lovely coffee shops all around the island, it wasn’t essential. Would highly recommend and happily stay again.
