Brilliant Sunday roast! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and chatty, the food was excellent value, and everything was beautifully presented. They're also dog-friendly, and ours was very grateful to the "Keeper of Sausages" for his lunch! It's well worth downloading the app and collecting Butcombe Rewards points too. They have a great loyalty programme with genuinely worthwhile rewards. We'll certainly be back again soon!

We chose as close to Poole for the ferry. The room had everything we needed including proper coffee and fresh milk. Good shower and nice toiletries provided. The breakfast was excellent and the pub manager a real gentleman. Would recommend and would stay again if the need arose.

First class in every way. On arrival met with a cheery smile by Matt the manager who showed us to our clean, comfortable room. Well appointed. Great shower. Stayed 2 nights attending a wedding elsewhere. Breakfast both mornings was outstanding with a vast choice. Quality sausage, bacon and everything. Not swimming in grease with quality toast and butter. Smiley staff alround. Highly recommend.
