We've taken to using Holiday Inns where possible. Choosing accommodation can be a lottery but here you know what you are getting. Rapid check in, £31 for two days parking is painful, but there you go. Room spotless, though we couldn't initially use the safe because it had been made inoperable. We told reception who said they'd send someone instantly as we didn't want to be dragging our valuables around with us. Of course it didn't get done though it was quickly resolved the next day after raising it. Breakfast was fine with lots of choice to fill your tiny plate. Location near and far enough from the maelstrom that is Bournemouth centre. We used buses over three days - they seemed to run to town every three minutes from across the way. The M1 and M2 were good service for return trips. And that's it. We made a good choice and enjoyed our stay.

Booked for 2 nights here 29th-31st july 2 adults and 2 kids upon arrival we arrived really early so I decided to park the car in the car park and go to the beach with the kids went to reception and asked to leave my car was greeted really nicely and welcoming the reception lady was friendly and welcomed me for being an ihg customer which was nice has to register the car and pay £15.50 per day (overpriced) location of the hotel is great literally 10 min walk and ur at Bournemouth pier beach I asked to leave the luggage somewhere and they have a place however I wasn’t impressed as I thought it would be a room however it looked like a storage room not a luggage room
When we managed to finally check in which was at 3pm I had someone different who was slow and didn’t really look like he knew what he was doing but never mind check in was slow we had a room on the 5th floor double bed and a sofa bed for the 2 kids which they found comfy (asked for a spare duvet as they needed one each) staff very accommodating bathroom good size shower was good and constant hot water plenty of towels black out curtains hairdryer in room and safe also tea/coffee facilities (ran out asked for more) again accommodating bed lovely and comfy and have 2 pillows which is good and comfy the lift seems to be an issue with the hotel kept breaking down and doors not closing (several times) I did get shouted and waved at by a male attendant cause I got in the lift then it broke down reported to reception and they apologised (not my fault the lift kept breaking) I didn’t have breakfast in the hotel they wanted an extra £15PP for this which I wasn’t willing to pay (think it should be discounted for IHG members) air con works great in the hotel and that’s why I choose holiday inn cause I know they have good air con would I stay here again yes plenty of places to eat around the hotel (don’t go out late as lots of druggies around)
