The Coppleridge Inn

Great Stay great customer service from Rupert when making the initial enquiry. I needed to book an overnight for my mum who has mobility problems. I contacted the inn and was personally called to Rupert who assured me the room would be suitable for my needs and booked a table which was easy to assess on arrival. The room the stay and the food was excellent and the staff go over and above to help, even down to opening the side door so my mum could have access for breakfast. All I can say this location offers great customer service and why hopefully we will be back soon. Thank you to all your team.

Tucked away in a village just outside Shaftesbury it is a perfect country inn. Taken over in August 2025 by Rupert, Sophie and family they have major plans for sympathetic improvements to upgrade the large comfortable en suite bedrooms each with great views over the surrounding countryside. This friendly and extra helpful couple and their staff run an excellent hostelry with a delicious food and beverage offering. You can eat in the restaurant, the bar or in one of several cosy side rooms, each with a real log fire. Lovely to come back to after a busy day out. Would thoroughly recommend and look forward to our next visit hopefully with warmer and drier weather so that we can also enjoy the large grounds.

Excellent service, nice table, good choice of background music, great food. We are local and had never visited before but weren't disappointed.
