Eastbury Hotel

Charming old hotel, conveniently located, with a beautiful garden, great breakfasts and lovely staff. Our deluxe garden room was large and comfortable, with a good walk-in shower, convenient sockets and adequate mirrors and lighting. However even in September it was uncomfortably hot, with a very small window which barely opened. A fan was provided, which helped a bit. The TV was small, with only Freeview channels and was a long way from the bed. There is a useful free car park behind the hotel, accessed from East Mill Lane. We found it a little odd that there were no staff on the premises overnight, but it wasn't a problem. We would stay here again.

Beautiful gardens, garden rooms and main building in a beautiful town. Main hotel is a bit tired but hotel is about to be closed for renovations. A very restful atmosphere I think because of setting, history and garden.

Sorry for delayed review, but we stayed hear for 7 nights whilst my wife was attending the music/singing festival. Nice room, with more than enough tea and coffee. We slept well aside from one night when a guest returned and played music at 2am; but they can’t help their guests. The staff made it for me. I’d walk my wife into town, and go for run, hike or shop, and visited the Haynes museum and Fleet Air Arm museum, and when I returned they quickly arranged tea or wine for me. The team were always chatty and said hello. I look forward to see what it’s like after revamp. Thank you all
