Gleneagles Guest House

Stayed here for weekend Lovely room basic but very comfy Bed was perfect.good night sleep Breakfast was good even had fried bread which i asked for. Extra toast if you asked for it Neil and christine were very friendly and welcoming. Within 3 mins to beach Were giving parking permit before we checked in which was good as got there early. Would deffo stay and recommend here again

On arrival we were very early, and couldn't book in so we parked in a huge carpark in town and had a wander until we could book in. Parking outside property is a little tricky, but you get a permit from the owner and you can park anywhere along the street. We had a very friendly welcome from the owner and he showed us our room. There was no surprises, it was a little dated in the room but it was clean and comfortable. There was a bit of noise from the street late at night but this can't be controlled anyway- also the windows are sash and not noise proof. Breakfast was very nice, and tasty and cooked how I wanted. Still with a happy environment and smiling owner. We found this hotel in a perfect location for the beach and shops. We wish now we had stayed and used it as a base for Seaton and Durdle Door, as it was the best B&B out of the 3 we ended up at.

Recently stayed for 2 nights while in Weymouth , owner was very friendly and helpful and great location 5 mins from beach and 15mins walk into main town , breakfast was pretty decent managed to park ok and they gave us a parking permit for our stay .. only reason I didn’t give it 5stars is the property is dated but brought back memories of the 80s 😀 I would stay again... as long as your not expecting mod cons I recommend to you
