Staff rude.We booked a twin room with 2 seperate beds got there it was a double I already took my stuff up to the room. The lady at reception to bring my stuff back down so I did so she could change me rooms.Got there she was talking to a staff member about me in such a rude way saying “I don’t think she has a clue what is going on” which is so rude so I said I do know what’s going on we had a twin room and you put us in a double. She then said we couldn’t change rooms and that they would just separate the beds. The lady also snatched my sisters key card out of her hand and asked her to put her debit card down for any charges but she was the only one that was asked which is strange surely you would do that with everyone. The heating did not work in our rooms when we spoken to staff they said they would fix it nothing ever go fixed so we was cold the whole weekend and have become ill.The bar staff have no clue on what’s going on it took them 20 minutes to make my drink and im sure they don’t know how to use the credit card machine properly. Breakfast awful so much cross contamination using different tongs for different things I told them about allergies and the woman that was dishing the breakfast out so “well don’t eat it then” so rude. I would not stay again they are so rude and they simply don’t seem to care at all not worth the money or the journey

This was a beautiful hotel great location for Gretna marriage. The staff were so warm and welcoming nothing was to much trouble . The food was fantastic. The 3 course wedding meal was outstanding, Cooked beautifully and piping hot, everything you could want for a breakfast. The rooms were large and very well set out . Our daughter’s wedding suite was outstanding. Would definitely recommend!!!

We had the most incredible wedding weekend, we were made to feel so special and all the staff could not have been anymore helpful from the reception staff, the wedding coordinators, Riley our amazing bag piper, and all the cleaning staff. Food and service in the restaurant was exceptional a special mention for Kay a superb young man a real feather in Smiths cap. The ladies in Spoilt Salon looked after my wife wonderfully making her look and feel amazing ready for our wedding. My wife highly recommends the fluff and buff service a real must from the ladies at Spoilt. We can’t wait to go back on our Anniversary.
