Stayed here as we were getting married at Gretna Green so was an ideal location, lovely hotel in beautiful grounds.
Staff were so friendly and helpful, ensured everything ran smoothly.
Loved the bar/lounge area, great choice of drinks, comfortable seating and a very relaxed atmosphere.
Breakfast was lovely as was the afternoon tea we had.
Had a king size room with a lovely patio/table and chairs.
A few points I would make are that the carpet was stained and could have done with a shampoo.
There is nowhere to hang wet towels, hooks in bathroom would make it easier. Also there is nowhere to put toiletries in the shower so you are constantly bending down to reach everything.
On the whole we had a wonderful stay and would return.
