Was such a lovely quiet relaxed stay. Thank you to Anthony for helping us get things for our new baby. Nothing was too much of a hassle and got her a cot, and fresh water to boil for her bottles. Thank you so much, we will be back soon, Laura, Jamie and baby Mirren

We have just returned from a weekend staying here , this hotel did the job perfectly for us, it was in a good location and was very easy to find after a long drive, it was close to plenty food places and shops, taxis into the city centre were easy enough as taxi numbers are provided by reception and they didn’t cost much, there was no charges for parking and the car park is quiet, we was greeted in a friendly manner on arrival by Anthony, he was very kind to us and nothing was too much to ask of him. Our room was clean on arrival and all within working order, we have just booked again to return next year.

Unfortunately, the entire property had a musty odour, with noticeable smells of cigarette smoke and cannabis. The hotel appears neglected, with visible damage and mould present in the room. The staff did not seem fazed when I requested three room changes, and I ultimately decided to leave the key and not stay due to the excessive mould and unpleasant odours throughout the building. At no point were the staff sympathetic or willing to provide a refund or any reasonable solution. This lack of response was consistent with my experience when I contacted the company directly, as I received no reply. The hotel repeatedly emphasises that bookings are non-refundable; however, the photos displayed online do not accurately represent the poor condition of the property. I would strongly recommend considering alternative accommodation.
