Lily Hill Farm

Had an overnight stay here with family to visit Barnard Castle. Lovely place to stay. The owner Karen, was really friendly and helpful. She gave recommendations on somewhere to eat locally. The property was easy to find and on a working farm. Beautiful views and peaceful. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is everything you need provided for you. Everywhere was spotless. The breakfast was fabulous - lots of choice and everything was very fresh. Plenty of choice of cereals. The cooked breakfast was lovely. Very good value for money and well worth the stay.

We were looking for a suitable stop off B&B on our holiday trip from Folkestone to Oban in Scotland and Lily Hill Farm was simply ideal, just off the A66. A peaceful and quiet location on a working livestock farm where we were able to chill out and relax. A very warm welcome from Karen and splendid views from our room which provided very comfortable and clean ensuite accommodation. An amazing choice for breakfast and our English breakfasts were superb. This is 5 Star accommodation at an amazing price!
