Woke with a start . Sounded like a motorcycle starting up in my bathroom! I can only assume it is Victorian plumbing. Happened another once or twice before I rose for breakfast. I was in 215.

The hotel was fine for our needs. The breakfast was very good - apart from the poor quality orange juice! However, I thought the restaurant food in general was mediocre and of very poor quality.
