The Windmill

The Restaurant is absolutely amazing faultless. But stayed in the honeymoon suit and was dirty ripped carpets absolutely disgusting and smells of damp have made complaints with no joy as everyone there only for Restaurant...

poor quality room, damp walls with peeling paint, damp stains on the ceiling, I had a disabled bathroom even though I'm not and trying to have a wash/shave in a basin the size of a cereal bowl is a joke. bedsheets had holes/rips in them, there was a small TV. also the kettle had water left in it from a previous client, so I didn't touch it. no safe.

The room was absolutely freezing. Radiators flat cold, small fan heater that didn't even take the chill off despite being on from 5pm to 4am in the morning. No plug or even grill on bathroom sink, just a hole. Hospitality tray only had coffee, no tea. Tv ariel just hanging from tv, on inspection, there wasn't even an ariel plug on wire. No one at reception desk all night apart from the 5 mins when booking in. We were at a private function in their conference room, so raised all these issues with a staff member we were led to believe was management, however, despite this, nothing was done about any of it. On leaving in the morning, no staff found anywhere to raise these issues again. We thought it was rather overpriced when we saw the room as it was very basic and didn't include breakfast, however, after taking everything into consideration, we found it extremely overpriced and will definitely 'not" be staying again. More than disappointed.
