BEST WESTERN BEAMISH HALL COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL

Third visit, booked as convenient for the nearby beamish museum . The gardens are beautiful and always impress upon arrival . Reason a slight deduction is two deluxe rooms booked and the difference between the two was surprising. One was far superior to the other which was very small, gloomy and basic and in my opinion not what I would class as an upgraded room in a hotel of this calibre . Disappointing, as this was my son’s first visit and he would not choose to book again based on that room . However as always the staff are lovely and breakfast very good quality.

Room was great with easy access to Stables which doubles up as a bar and restaurant. The gardens are fantastic and offer excellent photo opportunities. This also works as an overnight for a 2 day trip to Beamish Museum - Call in before going to the museum and get your discount code.

A beautiful hotel with gorgeous gardens & friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay amazing. Ideally located for Beamish which is only a few minutes away. Large car park with EV charging. Lovely well decorated & maintained rooms, despite the age of the building the rooms are all modern but classic. The stables restaurant is beautiful, a lovely place inside & out to relax & enjoy the surroundings. Breakfast was lovely with a continental selection & a lovely choice of hot dishes. Food was well presented & good quality. Overall a wonderful stay & highly recommended.
