My partner and I were part of a wedding entourage at the hotel. The wedding was superb as were the all the staff we came across so no complaints there at all! The location and free parking is also great. I understand that air conditioning might be going in the bedrooms at some stage but although warm the room we were in would have been worse in the full-on heatwave of previous weeks. The only problem was that we wanted the windows open at night but as we were overlooking the pool and spa there was a constant hum from somewhere which kept us awake for a while so we had to close the windows. I know with spa/hot tub/pool extraction ducting this probably couldn't be helped. Probably not everyone would focus in on the sound but I have very sensitive ears! The view from the room however was beautiful. It would have been good to have a ligher sheet or cover provided for hot nights. We however took the duvet cover off the rather inexpensive looking duvet to get round this. The main problem for me and quite a few people I spoke to however was the lack of a riser in the shower. Most women don't like to just use an overhead fixed shower as we don't always want to wash our hair when showering. These pointers are really only for constructive feedback as the hotel is a fantastic venue and we all had a memorable time. Thank you.

We stayed the night of our wedding and were very well looked after. Every single member of staff we spoke to was kind and extremely personable, delighted to know they were hosting us on our wedding. They were incredibly welcoming and accommodating to us dropping our bags off a day early and all their kindness and personal manner won't be forgotten.

First of all the things I think could do with improving in my opinion are, the bedroom was just too hot as other people have said, it could also do with a fridge. The bathroom had a good shower in it but there wasn't any shelf space for wash bags so had to put them on the floor The grounds are nice but there are old tables and chairs just left out, you can see there's work in progress but it lets the hotel down. We had booked a table, for dinner,but had to wait for a table to be cleared and set up, there weren't many staff working. The food was of good quality though and they have a very good wine list, and we enjoyed the complimentary madeira wine served at 9pm. The breakfast was very good and good quality ingredients. The pool area was very good and we enjoyed an afternoon sun bathing there, my partner had a full body massage which she enjoyed. Overall a good stay.
