I walked past it and it still has not been rebuilt since burning down in July 2023. At the moment no works have taken place since the council took charge of the demolition on safety grounds. It is all a bit of a mystery as to why no insurance payout has happened and the people of Brighton are still out of pocket.

Stayed before 2023 but dates won't go back. Extremely overpriced ( probably because next to the pier). Rooms were awful and unsafe! The balcony was falling apart and you could see through the floor. There were also gaps in the fire doors which is a bit worrying since the hotel caught fire last year! Complained to the manager to be offered a ten per cent discount on the next stay, you couldn't pay me to go back! Hopefully when this place reopens it will be better

Never book directly with this hotel. Due to a fire, we were booked and promised a reimbursement, which never came. However our friends who booked by booking.com got refund within 5 days. Very bad communication from the hotel.
