Really amazing experience and everything was taken care of for us. We were warmly welcomed by Mariette and Mihai who were brilliant. They made the trip seemless and effortless and it enabled us to have a great experience.

I recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Brighton, and overall, my experience was a mix of convenience, comfort, and one very disappointing incident. The hotel itself is nice, clean, and extremely well‑located — just steps from the station, which makes it ideal for travellers who want easy access and a smooth arrival or departure. In terms of general comfort and convenience, it performed well. However, I specifically booked a family room with a king‑size bed and a sofa bed because I needed both sleeping spaces for my stay. Unfortunately, on the last night, when I actually needed to use the sofa bed, I was told by Simona at reception that the sofa bed in my assigned room was broken — and that this was because I “did not mention” I intended to use it. This comment was extremely disappointing. If I book a family room that includes a sofa bed, it is obvious that I may need to use it. I would not have paid extra for that room type otherwise. Being told that the broken sofa bed was somehow my responsibility to declare was a very poor experience and left a strongly negative impression. Thankfully, Alex from the team stepped in. He came to the room, confirmed the sofa bed was indeed broken, and acted quickly — returning to reception and arranging a new room for me within minutes. While having to repack and move rooms on my final night was far from ideal, Alex’s fast, helpful response did salvage the situation and deserves recognition.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel and we were unexpectedly upgraded to a sea view room. This was modern and spacious and included on kettle coffee machine and pods a fridge and hairdryer. Fridge was a bonus in the hot weather. This hotel is ideally placed and exiting at the back entrance you are more or less in the lanes. To the front is the pier. The staff were very friendly including maintenance staff and housekeeping. We did not eat here as so close to so many restaurants and bars locally. Would like to come back soon x
