Best Western York House

Chose this hotel with a red letter gift voucher. Very nice hotel. We had an upgrade and paid extra £22 for this. Lovely spacious room and gorgeous bathroom. The only thing was the net curtain in bathroom was all torn. This let down the upgrade. I did mention it to reception on checking out and she apologised. Dinner was included in the voucher and breakfast. Both were good. Staff friendly and attentive. They even have indoor pool but we didn't use it as had one night stay. Lovely Seaview which is always a bonus.

Hotel is better than any others I have stayed in Eastbourne. Pricey as booked last minute. However very grateful for a cool clean room. All staff without exception were friendly and helpful. Location was perfect by the sea but quieter than further west.

Have stayed at this hotel many times and always found the staff excellent and the rooms very comfortable & clean, Breakfast good choice, Pity the pool was out of order this time as a swim before breakfast is good and an indoor pool is good for all year round swim hopefully all will be working next time we visit.
