The Ferguson Fawsitt Arms & Country Lodge

Had a lovely Sunday dinner this evening with my two boys. Food was all available and piping hot. Booking advised as much busier than I expected later in the day (for a Sunday anyway) but that didn’t compromise the brilliant service. Extremely good value for money and all home cooked food. Service was spot on. Friendly and lovely staff. Convenient food sized car park. Great atmosphere and very clean. Highly recommended .

Very disappointing. First time visiting and had high expectations due to its reputation. Distinctly average food. And the portion sizes were tiny. A very slack handful of chips with the fish and the tiniest amount of salad with the very bland chicken kebabs. Would not be in a rush to go back again.

Excellent quality home cooked food. Very tasty and good portion sizes. Very reasonable prices. Excellent customer service and great atmosphere. Loved the band entertainment kangaroo shoes and Ron. Lovely evening. Will certainly go back.
