What a great place to stay, the rooms and lovely and the hosts amazing so welcoming and kind, nothing was ever a problem even for a fussy eater like me for breakfast, The surrounding areas were beautiful for an evening stroll and amenities close enough for comfort (about 5 mins drive ) but far enough away for a very peaceful stay and night sleep. To be be greeted by beautiful peacocks every morning and views of fields and tranquility took the edge of a very long business trip, would highly recommend to anyone.

Really enjoyed my stay here, would definitely go back! The hosts are what make this place so great, they were accommodating to my needs, by supplying me with a mini fridge and microwave as I was staying here for a few weeks. I loved the warm welcome they gave me every morning for breakfast! The scenery surrounding the property is beautiful and I enjoyed walks around the fields with one of their dogs who would join me occasionally. The facilities met expectations and there are local amenities within 5-10min drive.

Without doubt the best bed and breakfast in Essex. Friendly hosts, idyllic off the beaten track setting yet within 15 minutes of Stansted, 5 minutes to Dunmow and 10 minutes to Braintree. Spacious rooms with ensuite facility's and a hearty breakfast to finish off ( proper butcher's sausages too, no Richmond rubbish here). Cannot recommend highly enough.
