Premier Inn Thurrock East

Thurrock East. Arrived to be allocated a 1st floor room in adjacent block. Asked staff member if there was a lift only to be told there is a socket in the room to charge my phone. Explained I couldn't get up the stairs and even if I could I couldn't get down again if there was an emergency. Despite stating all ground floor rooms had been taken he found me one anyway. We had booked their Meal Deal and walked across the road to what used to be a Brewers Fayre. Now it is a freezing cold, under staffed soul less shell. It didn't help that the " chef" threw his dolls out and stormed off home. We are now waiting for the promised refund, and having just checkedat Reception it appears an agency chef hasn't been booked for breakfast either An £8 each way Uber and we managed to eat at Harvester for twice the price of our meal deal. I have another booking at this premier Inn and I expect them to provide a refund now we wish to cancel it. Terrible experience overall.

It absolutely blew me away when I stayed at this hotel with my family for 2 nights. I was treated like royalty as it was extremely clean I could practically eat off the floor and that the people were warm and welcoming and stayed professional at all times. 11/10 would definitely go again.

The staff very friendly and kind. Rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy and I enjoyed my stay there.
