This hotel is closer to 4 star than 3. Only downside is they say you can drink the tap water as no free bottled water and I don’t like drinking tap water in hotels. The rooms could be a little bit more soundproof.

The hotel is located in Dunfermline, the ancient Scottish capital which is not too far from Edinburgh airport and deserves to be visited. It is located on the outskirts of Dunfermline but it has a private parking which is very convenient if you are coming by car. The room I stayed was comfortable.

Booked for 17 family members as it was my husband’s 60th birthday. Food was excellent, staff were very good. Didn’t feel rushed. Was a lovely family meal. All totally enjoyed it. Thank you.
