Mercure Chester East Hotel

One of the best Premier inn standard rooms we have experienced, and we have been to many. New design works well, Aircon was so welcome in 35 degrees heat.Had heard horror stories about the new breakfast arrangements, and yes the dining room is cramped in comparison to others, but not as bad as some have mentioned. Food was up to usual high standard, staff overworked and very busy, but all had a pleasant smile, which works wonders. All in all a surprisingly good stay.

Staff were friendly and really helpful. The rooms were clean and well kept everything you expect from a Premier Inn. Food that we had during our stay was really nice and the little restaurant on site was lovely. There was the Sainsbury's over a road which was really useful and it was really easy to get to.

Staff were absolutely incredible, especially the manager, nothing was too much for them. The room was absolutely spotless and kept at a perfect temperature given the heatwave.
