Holiday Inn Express Theatrelan

The highlight of this place is the location. Easy walk into the main part of town, Buchanan Street, John Lewis galleries, railway stations etc. No on site parking but there is parking across the road. The rooms are basic but have everything needed. Bathrooms have all appointments. Some construction going on next door while we were there which was annoying but not permanent. Breakfast completely adequate. This is not a high priced place so it meets expectations of the price range. Our baggage had been lost by the airline so reception staff were incredibly helpful with providing toothbrushes etc and letting us know immediately bags turned up. Very kind. No on site restaurant but lots within a few hundred metres. Overall value for money, especially if you want to stay "down town".

The hotel is centrally located which is its major plus. Our double room was the typical Holiday Inn design with no frills. Slightly old with the basics provided but clean and comfortable for a short stay. Tea and coffee facilities provided but no fridge which was disappointing. Breakfast was included and had a variety of hot and cold food. Paid a good rate so was reasonable overall.

One night stay in Glasgow and the price was right at the Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were a little old and the view of a condemned building out the window was not great. Breakfast was included which was nice and location to theater district and walking to the Cathedral was perfect. Overall an okay stay
