Marriott Bristol Royal

Yeah great hotel and lovely spacious family room. Great stay.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for a night as we were in Bristol to watch a concert at the Cathedral the location for the hotel was perfect in a beautiful setting right on the the green. Entry from the underground carpark which there was plenty of space and very clearly sign posted for the hotel was great. The hotel looked and smelled incredible! very opulent! The staff were polite and very very helpful and the drinks and food in the onsite Miller and Carter was on point as always. Great experience all round highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back to this hotel even just to explore more of Bristol! thank you and well done all!

We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Royal. We stayed for four nights in a larger junior suite with lounge access. The room was more than spacious, two tvs and a bathroom with bath and shower. Excellent air conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Room was serviced every day, water and biscuits replaced and fresh towels. It was spotless. We payed for access to the lounge and enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast with fresh fruit including blueberries, yoghurts, cereals and cold hams and cheese. Hot offerings were scrambled eggs sausage and bacon, beans, hash browns mushrooms and tomatoes, all kept topped up. I am assuming veggie options would be available on request. Pastries and toast to finish with hot beverages and fruit juices. We didn’t try the evening snacks as we were always out for dinner. The key differentiator here were the staff. Seamless from front desk to the people servicing the rooms. Always a good morning and a smile. Front desk are brilliant so my advice is to use them. Some of the reviews on here I can’t identify with I’m afraid. We had a great time and would visit again. There is however no room service as mentioned other than the Miller and Carter Fare. Some small plates or lighter option both on room service and in the bar would have been a nice option to have. Car park is great and we got a discount on parking. We would define stay again.
