Radisson Blu Bristol

Hotel was perfect. They upgraded us so we had a room that took in the splendour of the harbour. Clean, comfy, and quiet. A great nights sleep and perfectly placed for exploring the city. Staff were accommodating. I will be back again to the same hotel.

Booked and paid via Booking.com in October 2025. Appears Majestic took over in December 2025. On arrival in May 2026 they have a record of dates of stay but no verification of payment and was forced to pay again and they place the onus of recovering payment made to booking.com on the customer! If they have a record of the booking, why not the payment? Reception are dismissive of the issue. Breakfast quality is not the best, the carpet in the room is covered in stains, one of which is large, it maybe red wine. Took photos on arrival and took to reception to advise they were there on arrival and I'm not paying for cleaning. Was advised house keeping would sort next day.... Nothing done. Stayed last year before being taken over by Majestic, sadly the hotel has gone downhill and I wouldn't stay again. if you have booked and paid in advance via Booking.com, cancel and find somewhere else as you may have to pay again and have to recover from Booking.com

The hotel cancelled our reservation at 8pm the evening before our stay, saying we were no longer on the system. This was despite having phoned the hotel twice in the previous weeks to check all was ok and book the carpark. Not good when you have tickets for the o2 arena. The hotel is now called the majestic. Absolutely does not live up to the name.
