The Cheltenham Chase Hotel - Qhotels

While the hotel itself is decent—with clean, comfortable rooms and good amenities like the pool and sauna—the dining experience was unacceptable. We waited over 30 minutes just for glasses and for our wine to be opened, which only happened after we prompted the staff. Our main courses took over an hour to arrive. Although the staff apologized and offered a complimentary bottle of wine for the delay, the food quality did not redeem the wait. The medium-rare steak tasted as if it had been cooked straight from frozen and lacked any seasoning.

For the money we paid this was all amazing. The food, the staff, the room, we got a free upgrade. I would stay again it was lovely.

We thought that it was a very good hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and the room was very spacious and comfortable. In our opinion, just the bathroom required upgrading. The pool was very enjoyable but again felt the changing rooms required updating. We found the food to be very good and the surroundings and location were excellent. The staff were lovely but felt that it lacked that extra customer service ie tables cleared, bar area cleared etc. In all we had a fabulous couple of days away and will definitely be returning
