Nice garden, ok bar food and breakfast, and friendly staff. However, rooms on 3rd floor facing SW/W are like a sauna in sunny hot weather (over 20 degrees). In particular, room 324 with a window that opens about 1 inch but won't stay open. At least 10 degrees hotter than outside and unbearable overnight even with the fan.

Decent stopover hotel. A little tired but all clean, service good and not pricey. Chloe in the bar was absolutely brilliant, welcoming, knowledgable and efficient. What a star.

We came upon the hotel by chance today, whilst waiting to catch the train up Snowden. We had a fabulous lunch, the chipotle chicken salad was beautiful and such a generous portion. The pasta was delicious too and plenty of it. I would also like to praise the lovely staff, very engaging and talkative and I was even given a wee sample of cider to try. Thank you all for making our trip to Llanberis very memorable.
