Raven Hotel

When we arrived with friends, we waited 20 minutes for a waitress to come to our table and offer something from the menu. The food was terrible and cold. Hunter's chicken, cold chicken katu, and a small portion. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Nikki and her team were absolutely amazing, Nikki made our stay so welcoming and nothing was a problem. Our room 40 was spacious with a massive bed, very clean and tidy, we slept very well as it was nice and quiet with a homely feel. The breakfast was big and very delicious with lots of choice. Bar staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was lovely especially the katsu chicken. We will 100% recommend the raven hotel to family and friends.

Booked when visiting Family day at RAF Oldham. Right next to Hook train station. Bus stop outside with hourly bus service. Hotel is worn but comfortable. Rooms are clean, Bedding and towel fresh bright white, bed comfortable, shower is good with a bath option and a very used magnifying makeup up mirror which is missing from up market establishments. Breakfast was good quality and freshly cooked. Staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed in room 25 which was very quiet. Although the place is worn it has a relaxed feel which offers its own attraction. I visit London frequently and after staying here I would consider traveling further South, staying again and paying to travel up to London as it would be more cost effective. Travel time is around a hour with trains running every half a hour. Parking is available if you drive.
