Penny Farthing Hotel & Cottages

Excellent service staff friendly & breakfast was very good. We had top floor room. The room is clean and tidy, also room service excellent, but bedding pillows mattress are very old did not have comfortable sleep even sleeping on top of duvet for extra softness, The main problem & why we wouldn't be coming back water pressure not good both of us got scolded in the shower due to it either being cold or red hot, ( Dangerous ). Also outside of building could do with painting and tidying up. ! Sorry, just needs a little work and investment to make it a little gem.

Myself and my husband stayed a couple of nights. Its very clean and comfortable. The staff are all very welcoming. The breakfast is perfect. Good location. We shall definitely be returning.

Room very small, the shower was a joke, couldn't get in properly to wash. Breakfast very enjoyable, but skimmed milk not available for decaf tea. We won't be going again
