We had an excellent lunch at 'The Wyk' It is a slightly curious menu where some 'pub classis' sit alongside more creative dishes from professional MasterChef finalist Luke. You must get the toasted bread with chicken as a non negotiable. I had the delicately cured halibut to start which was a suitably light starter before sharing a cote du boeuf which was cooked medium rare as requested. I do a salad or veg side should be included in the price though. The sauce was deep and flavoursome personally I don't think you get beat a green peppercorn with steak. 4 different desserts and all deemed delicious. Looked after impeccably by a young lady. Good job everyone!

Best roast in a long time. Perfect roast potatoes which seem to be a rare thing in restaurants nowadays! The rest was all delicious too an enough for tomorrow's dinner!
