Orles Barn Hotel

Stayed for 4 nights and had 4 comfy sleeps followed by 4 delicious breakfasts. The converted barn has lots of character but also all the mod cons, and the hosts are friendly and informative. Located close to an A road and petrol station, making touring by car a breeze, but because it's on a side road there isn't a lot of traffic noise, even if you have the window open at night. There's also a really nice pub in short walking distance.

We booked Orles Barn to celebrate our first wedding anniversary after family recommended it following their stay there last year. We stayed in 'Orange Pippin' which is spacious and comfortable. There is a huge bath in the room as well as an en-suite with a shower. Robes & slippers were provided and the room is complete with tea & coffee facilities and milk in the fridge at the top of the stairs. The property has an honesty bar that was well stocked and easy to navigate. There is a lovely garden at the back of the property that guests are welcome to use. Breakfast was DELICIOUS! Plenty of options, all cooked fresh to order with generous portion sizes! It’s a 15-20 min walk into Ross-on-Wye, where there is plenty to see and do. Would highly recommend Tweet for dinner! Roxy was knowledgeable and incredibly warm and welcoming. Thank you both so much for such a lovely stay. We will be back again.

We needed somewhere to stay for one night in Ross on Wye and I'm so glad we came across Orles Barn. The location ob the edge of town is excellent, just 15 minutes walk, largely along the river within easy reach of so many lovely restaurants and pubs. We were met with a very warm welcome, our King room was spacious and beautifully clean. Lovely touches like fresh milk and chilled water available for the room. The honesty bar and lounge area was really nice to enjoy and breakfast in the morning was delicious. Plenty of freshly cooked options along with fresh fruit, yoghurt and toast. Highly recommended for a relaxed stay in the countryside.
