The White House Guest House

Great location. Two minute walk to a great pub/restaurant. Lovely welcome. Our room was large, massive bed, really comfortable and homely. Everything you could need, including hair dryer to borrow and several options of shower gel to borrow.

We booked very last minute . We stayed in room 7 a beautifully presented room . The decor amd views were outstanding . Parking was simple . The room had a small ensuite which we were delighted with considering we were top floor and in a listed building the effort and expense must have been eye watering achieving this. The attention to detail in the room was excellent. The hostess you can clearly see really loves the hotel and must work tirelessly to maintain and achieve the standards . I would say a must stay if your in Ross on Wye. We will definitely be back to have a proper stay . I cant recommend this beautiful hotel enough .

Lovely building and riverside location convenient for walking in to town spacious room and en-suite let down by poor decorative maintenance and cheap hard mattress flat lumpy pillows and polyester bedding inconsistent shower temperature and no breakfast option. Only stayed one night but neither of us slept comfortably. Such a shame as could be superb with little cost just effort. Owner needs to sleep in the rooms and will soon understand my review
