I stayed one night here. I arrived late and had to leave really early the next morning. The parking situation was quite difficult but the guy on the front desk/behind the bar was really helpful so just wanted to give him a shout out. Went above and beyond to be as helpful as possible which made the stay 10x easier. The room was fairly basic but clean and was a good price compared to other accommodation in the area.

Wonderful staff and great location. There is a small car park and we were fortunate enough to park in one of the last 2 spaces. What you need to know about the parking is that you access it from around the corner and through a car wash forecourt, with next to no signing. Rooms are reasonably spacious but standard. We got a great view of an adjoing wall, complete with ladder. The lounge has a bar and is pleasing. But why does breakfast always have to be so bad? First, when we arrived in the breakfast room, the attending lady seemed confused as to why we were there. From here on, it was watered down orange juice, burnt croissants, poor quality sausages and every possible flavour of jam......as long as it was orange marmalade. Overall, OK for a one night stay for two at £98.80 but I will probably skip breakfast next time and buy one at the Premier Inn.

Be Aware !!! Booked through Booking.com & paid £87.50 for a single night. When I checked in was told I have to pay £50 extra? I presumed it was should you wish to put anything on your room account? NO !!! This apparently was in case you trashed the room or stole the kettle or something. They would not cancel the room & I was forced to pay it. When you book the room there is no mention of this. Obviously I didn’t trash the room or steal anything. It now takes 14 days to give you the £50 back. TOTAL SCAM. Will never stay again based on principles
