Mansefield House

We booked this place and paid in advance. We were notified it could not accommodate us but transferred to another place nearby. When we went there, they knew nothing about our reservation. The Mansfield house is closed and we had no place to stay. Had to drive to Oban and luckily found a place. We have been trying for weeks to get our money back.

Located along the road to Glenfinnan, close to Fort William and Corpach basin. Very quiet setting, lovely garden. Spacious room with a kettle, luxurious bed, excellent mattras. En suite shower room and toilet. Great breakfast menu, you make your choice the day before and leave it out in the hall. Lovely owners, Australian, friendly, efficient. A nice word of welcome in the hall when you enter.

Small details make a difference. Big, fluffy towels, including facecloths, USB ports so you didn’t need a converter, great shower with shampoo and body wash. Breakfast was great. If I had one small complaint it was the bed in Room 1 was a little uncomfortable. Great stay.
