Ardvassar Hotel

I stayed at The Inn at Àird a’ Bhàsair in Ardvasar for one night while on Skye and was very happy with it. The room was really good quality, and the hotel overall was of a good standard. The restaurant also served nice food. There was an issue with breakfast, as it appeared that the regular chef did not turn up, but they clearly arranged alternate cover. I was fed and did not go hungry, so no substantial issue.

Great spot! Quiet and comfortable, great food, very friendly - and tucked away from the mad crowds of visitors swarming the rest of Skye. Just 2km or a 10-15 minute walk south of the Armadale Ferry terminal, and the perfect place to wait for another of CalMac's cancellations... Or overnight for an early departure.
