Invernairne Guest House

I have stayed at the Invernairne twice now. I absolutely love it; you can not beat the peaceful location with water views, beautiful rooms with comfortable rooms, stunning gardens and a comfortable bar area to lounge in. Can't wait to return again.

Beautiful place in a gorgeous location. Clean room, comfy bed and really nice, peaceful atmosphere throughout. Huge but cosy bar area where you can order local takeaway to your table (hotel doesn't do evening meals) while you enjoy a drink, a roaring fire, and amazing views out to sea. Breakfast is excellent and the scrambled eggs are fantastic! If there was one wee criticism it would be maybe more staff. There was only one person seemingly doing everything from the bar in the evening, reception checking in and out and serving breakfast. Owners should give her some back up!

We were lucky enough to spend the night in the Bunker - a self contained flat under the main hotel. It would be a great spot to spend some time (we were only there for one night), with a comfy bed, well-appointed kitchenette and dining area and washing machine. The service was both efficient and friendly, and the lounge / bar and dining room are comfortable and have great views. The brekky was great - tasty, good variety and you could ask for extras. Thanks!
