The Lovat is a beautiful hotel, very well decorated. The room was very comfortable and the view from the room was beautiful. The restaurant is very good. I strongly recommend to have a dinner there. You should take your time for a drink before the dinner. Just enjoy it in a room where you can even play cards or other games. This is a good start before the dinner. Breakfast was good as well.

We booked one of the packages ‘Loch Nestle’ and it was fabulous , We dooked in Loch Ness , got the T-shirt to prove it !, fabulous whisky tasting ( not from the big brands but local different distilleries ) have been on a few tastings before and this was special. Food was outstanding and staff genuinely care about your stay. We took our dogs and stayed in one of the garden rooms , little enclosed patio area for the dogs with a large enclosed garden for them to run around in, very dog friendly. Will definitely be back soon.

From the moment you arrive, you’re made to feel so welcome. Every single member of staff is genuinely friendly, kind and attentive, creating such a relaxed atmosphere. There seems to be a wonderful team spirit, and it’s clear that everyone takes real pride in making guests feel at home. The hotel is immaculate throughout. Our room was beautifully presented with thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special, we especially loved finding a yoga mat in the room. The food is outstanding, with delicious seasonal dishes and produce, including ingredients grown in the hotel’s own gardens and locally foraged. It’s lovely to see such care taken over every detail, and it all adds to the feeling that this is somewhere with real heart and soul. It was also a real pleasure to spend some time in the gardens and appreciate the care and dedication that goes into keeping them looking so beautiful. We left feeling completely refreshed, rested and already talking about when we can come back. The Lovat isn’t just a beautiful hotel, it’s a place that leaves you feeling happier than when you arrived. Highly recommended.
