The view is spectacular. Especially if you’re lucky enough to get some sunshine. There is no elevator, so bags need to be hauled up stairs. Also, there is no air conditioning. We were provided a fan and left windows open. Unfortunately, there are a lot of the small midges flying around at dusk. The breakfast was typical, but lacked any fresh fruit choices. The hotel has a bar with a minimal bar menu. If you want to eat a meal, it’s a slightly long walk to town without great sidewalks. Parking in town is near impossible. The View restaurant was very good, especially for Scotland. Service was very nice.
